Meet Our Coach/Financial Consultant
Dr. Khaled Abdou (Finance Coach and Financial Consultant) earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Financial Economics from the University of New Orleans, specializing in Investments and Corporate Finance. He also earned his MBA from Eastern Illinois University. On the professional side, Dr. Abdou is a CFA Charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst) and a CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
Dr. Abdou is an Associate Professor at a higher education institution where he teaches and researches various finance and accounting topics. Before joining academia, he gained quality experiences in auditing and financial consulting at Deloitte, equity research and financial analysis at El-Iman Corp., and retail banking at Misr International Bank (MIB). In addition, Dr. Abdou was a co-founder of Alnoor Asset Management, a Registered Investment Advisor (currently inactive) where he was the Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer.
He is passionate about meeting people, traveling, soccer, surfing, and swimming.
